The laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) procedure continues to grow at a rapid pace, and has now surpassed Roux-En-y gastric bypass as the #1 bariatric intervention in the United States. Despite its popularity, challenges still remain in terms of the consistency of how it is performed.
